Lévi was born in Blaricum, the Netherlands, on 7 September 1995. She studied the classical violin from age 4 until age 17 with Mirjam Welling. In the meantime she studied piano and singing. When aged 17 she decided to dedicate herself to jazz vocals and received her high school diploma in 2013 at the School for Young Talent based in the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. With this diploma she received a recommendation from the head of department for the bachelor Jazz Vocal Studies. Levi graduated from the Royal Conservatory in May, 2018.
Lévi Cox is a jazz and soul singer based in The Hague, Netherlands. Lévi is known for her deep and soulful sound, using her musicality to express herself. She performed at a large number of venues in different formations such as duo’s, trio’s, quartets. She is also the lead singer of the funk collective 'The Royal Funk Family'. Currently, Levi is working with her own band under the name ‘LÉVI’. This debut EP will mix popmusic with soul and jazz. Her EP 'As I Am' will come out April 5th 2019.
